Types of the abdomen wound closure were one case of primary repair, one of two-staged closure with a mesh, and one of three-staged repair with a silo and a mesh. All three patients recovered uneventfully from the LT operation and are doing well to date for more than 6 years after transplantation.

We evaluated the factors affecting the long-term outcome in APC patients with emphasis on LNR and LODDS.

    The prospectively collected data of 198 patients who underwent pancreatoduodenectomy for APC was analyzed after excluding 12 patients for various reasons.     The purpose of this study was to investigate attitudes regarding the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol of hepato-biliary-pancreatic (HBP) surgeons in Korea and the extent to which they use the protocol for perioperative management.

    An online survey was conducted among members of the Korean Association of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery (KAHBPS) for eight weeks beginning on August 2019. The questionnaire, which was written in Korean, was based on the latest ERAS guidelines. Total responses were collected from 127 surgeons.

    Of the 127 total respondents, the largest proportion (44.9%) were working in Seoul. In terms of established in-hospital clinical pathways (CP), 19.7% of the participating surgeons had and followed a CP in pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) and 21.3% in hepatectomy. Regarding the ERAS protocol for each surgery, four items (18.2%) regarding PD and seven items (35.0%) related to hepatectomy were followed by more than 50% of respondents.

    This review has systematized and discussed information from the last 5 years about the research regarding antitumor/anticancer potential of gold nanoparticles obtained via medicinal plant extracts, with special attention on their selective cytotoxicity on tumor cells and on their mechanism of action, in vitro and in vivo assessments.

    Niosomes are a vesicular carrier system comprised of a Nonionic surfactant bilayer surrounding an aqueous compartment. Niosomes are presumed to raise the intake of the poorly water-soluble drugs by M cells of Peyer's patches present in the intestine's lymphatic tissues, thereby avoiding the first-pass metabolism and increasing its oral bioavailability. Biodegradability, nonimmunogenic nature, minimal side effects, low cost, good stability, and flexibility to incorporate hydrophilic and lipophilic drugs are other advantages of niosomes.

    The thin-film hydration technique used to prepare Lurasidone hydrochloride loaded niosomes using different grades of nonionic surfactants like Brij, Span, and Tween. They evaluated for particle size, zeta potential, percent entrapment efficiency, in-vitro drug release, and in-vivo study.

    Niosomes comprised of Brij S-100 in drug cholesterol surfactant (111) showed particle size (1.15 ± 0.21 μm) and percent entrapment efficiency (97.02 ± 0.21%) and was selected for further studies. Various pharmacokinetic parameters like C

    Early surgery improves outcomes after burn injuries but is often not available in limited resource settings (LRS), where a more conservative approach is widespread. This study aimed to analyze factors associated with delay in surgical treatment, and the impact on in-hospital mortality.

    All patients with burns treated with surgery between 2016 and 2019 at the Pietermaritzburg Burn Service, in South Africa, were included in this retrospective study. Early surgery was defined as patients who underwent surgery within 7 days from injury. The population was analyzed descriptively and differences between groups were tested using t-test, and χ2 test or Fisher's exact test, as appropriate. Multivariable logistic regression was used to analyze the effect of delay in surgical treatment on in-hospital mortality, after adjustment for confounders.

    During the study period, 620 patients with burns underwent surgery. Of them, 16% had early surgery. The early surgery group had a median age and TBSA of 11 years (3-35) and 12.0% (5-22) compared to 7 years (2-32) and 6.0% (3-13) in the late surgery group (p=0.45, p<0.001). This study aimed to analyze factors associated with delay in surgical treatment, and the impact on in-hospital mortality. All patients with burns treated with surgery between 2016 and 2019 at the Pietermaritzburg Burn Service, in South Africa, were included in this retrospective study. Early surgery was defined as patients who underwent surgery within 7 days from injury. The population was analyzed descriptively and differences between groups were tested using t-test, and χ2 test or Fisher's exact test, as appropriate. Multivariable logistic regression was used to analyze the effect of delay in surgical treatment on in-hospital mortality, after adjustment for confounders. During the study period, 620 patients with burns underwent surgery. Of them, 16% had early surgery.   • Detection and separation of gas-phase volatile organic compounds (VOCs) is of great importance for many applications including air quality monitoring, toxic gas detection and medical diagnostics. A lack of small and low-cost detectors limits the potential applications of VOC gas sensors, especially in the areas of consumer products and the 'Internet of Things'. Most of the commercially available low-cost technologies are either only capable of measuring a single VOC type, or only provide a total VOC concentration, without the ability to provide information on the nature or type of the VOC. We present a new approach for improving the selectivity of VOC detection, based on temporally resolved thermal desorption of VOCs from a nanoporous material, which can be combined with any existing VOC detector. This work uses a nanoporous silica material that adsorbs VOC molecules, which are then thermally desorbed onto a broadband VOC detector. Different VOCs are desorbed at different temperatures depending on their boiling point and affinity to the porous surface. The nanoporous silica is inert; VOC adsorption is proportional to the concentration of VOC in the environment, and is fully reversible. An example of a detection system using a commercial total VOC photoionization detector and a nanoporous silica preconcentrator is demonstrated here for six different VOCs, and shows potential for discrimination between the VOCs.Accurate measurements of 235U enrichment within metallic nuclear fuels are essential for understanding material performance in a neutron irradiation environment, and the origin of secondary phases (e.g. uranium carbides). Our approach combines computer vision, existing informational signs such as Exit signs, inertial sensors and a 2D map to estimate and track the user's location in the environment. An important feature of our approach is that it requires no new physical infrastructure. While our approach requires the user to either hold the smartphone or wear it (e.g., on a lanyard) with the camera facing forward while walking, it has the advantage of not forcing the user to aim the camera towards specific signs, which would be challenging for people with low or no vision. We demonstrate the feasibility of our approach with five blind travelers navigating an indoor space, with localization accuracy of roughly 1 meter once the localization algorithm has converged.Functional connectivity between brain regions is often estimated by correlating brain activity measured by resting-state fMRI in those regions. The impact of factors (e.g, disorder or substance use) are then modeled by their effects on these correlation matrices in individuals. A crucial step in better understanding their effects on brain function could lie in estimating connectomes, which encode the correlation matrices across subjects. Connectomes are mostly estimated by creating a single average for a specific cohort, which works well for binary factors (such as sex) but is unsuited for continuous ones, such as alcohol consumption. Alternative approaches based on regression methods usually model each pair of regions separately, which generally produces incoherent connectomes as correlations across multiple regions contradict each other. In this work, we address these issues by introducing a deep learning model that predicts connectomes based on factor values. The predictions are defined on a simplex spanned across correlation matrices, whose convex combination guarantees that the deep learning model generates well-formed connectomes. We present an efficient method for creating these simplexes and improve the accuracy of the entire analysis by defining loss functions based on robust norms. We show that our deep learning approach is able to produce accurate models on challenging synthetic data. Furthermore, we apply the approach to the resting-state fMRI scans of 281 subjects to study the effect of sex, alcohol, and HIV on brain function.In MRI practice, it is inevitable to appropriately balance between image resolution, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and scan time. It has been shown that super-resolution reconstruction (SRR) is effective to achieve such a balance, and has obtained better results than direct high-resolution (HR) acquisition, for certain contrasts and sequences. The focus of this work was on constructing images with spatial resolution higher than can be practically obtained by direct Fourier encoding. A novel learning approach was developed, which was able to provide an estimate of the spatial gradient prior from the low-resolution (LR) inputs for the HR reconstruction. By incorporating the anisotropic acquisition schemes, the learning model was trained over the LR images themselves only. The learned gradients were integrated as prior knowledge into a gradient-guided SRR model. A closed-form solution to the SRR model was developed to obtain the HR reconstruction. Our approach was assessed on the simulated data as well as the data acquired on a Siemens 3T MRI scanner containing 45 MRI scans from 15 subjects. The experimental results demonstrated that our approach led to superior SRR over state-of-the-art methods, and obtained better images at lower or the same cost in scan time than direct HR acquisition.

    In December 2013, it was discovered that drinking water supplied to one third of the households in Ronneby, southern Sweden, was highly contaminated by PFAS (sum level >10,000ng/L) originated from firefighting foams used at a nearby military airport.

    To report serum PFAS levels of Ronneby residents participating in a biomonitoring program, and to describe the variation by age, sex and calendar period for residential exposure. In addition, a reference group living in a neighboring municipality without PFAS contaminated drinking water was examined.

    Blood samples and demographic data were collected for 3297 Ronneby residents and 226 individuals from the reference group. Yearly residence addresses were available for 3086 Ronneby residents from the national population registry. Serum concentrations of PFHxS, PFOS and PFOA were determined in all participants, with additional PFHpA, PFNA and PFDA in subsets of the participants.

The current study aimed to develop pregnancy-specific PBTK (p-PBTK) models for BPA and BPS, using a common p-PBTK model structure. Novel paired maternal and fetal pregnancy data sets for total, unconjugated, and conjugated BPA and BPS plasma concentrations from three independent studies in pregnant sheep were used for model calibration. The nine-compartment (maternal blood, liver, kidney, fat, placenta and rest of body, and fetal liver, blood and rest of body) models simulated maternal and fetal experimental data for both BPA and BPS within one standard deviation for the majority of the experimental data points, highlighting the robustness of both models. Simulations were run to examine fetal exposure following daily maternal exposure to BPA or BPS at their tolerable daily intake dose over a two-week period. These predictive simulations show fetal accumulation of both bisphenols over time. Interestingly, the steady-state approximation following this dosing strategy achieved a fetal concentration of unconjugated BPA to levels observed in cord blood from human biomonitoring studies. In this study, we determined total Hg concentration and Hg isotopic composition of human urine, dietary components, and inhaled air in the Wanshan Hg mining area (MA), Guiyang urban area (UA), and Changshun background area (BA) to understand Hg exposure sources and metabolic processes in human body. At the three studied sites, total gaseous mercury (TGM) showed negative δ202Hg (-3.11‰ to + 1.12‰) and near-zero Δ199Hg (-0.16‰ to + 0.13‰), which were isotopically distinguishable from Hg isotope values of urine (δ202Hg -4.02‰ to - 0.84‰; Δ199Hg -0.14‰ to 0.64‰). We observed an offset of -1.01‰ to -1.6‰ in δ202Hg between TGM and urine samples, and an offset of -1.01‰ to 0.80‰ in δ202Hg between rice and urine samples, suggesting that lighter isotopes are more easily accumulated in the kidneys and excreted by urine. Novel paired maternal and fetal pregnancy data sets for total, unconjugated, and conjugated BPA and BPS plasma concentrations from three independent studies in pregnant sheep were used for model calibration. The nine-compartment (maternal blood, liver, kidney, fat, placenta and rest of body, and fetal liver, blood and rest of body) models simulated maternal and fetal experimental data for both BPA and BPS within one standard deviation for the majority of the experimental data points, highlighting the robustness of both models. Simulations were run to examine fetal exposure following daily maternal exposure to BPA or BPS at their tolerable daily intake dose over a two-week period. These predictive simulations show fetal accumulation of both bisphenols over time. At the three studied sites, total gaseous mercury (TGM) showed negative δ202Hg (-3.11‰ to + 1.12‰) and near-zero Δ199Hg (-0.16‰ to + 0.13‰), which were isotopically distinguishable from Hg isotope values of urine (δ202Hg -4.02‰ to - 0.84‰; Δ199Hg -0.14‰ to 0.64‰). We observed an offset of -1.01‰ to -1.6‰ in δ202Hg between TGM and urine samples, and an offset of -1.01‰ to 0.80‰ in δ202Hg between rice and urine samples, suggesting that lighter isotopes are more easily accumulated in the kidneys and excreted by urine. Test line intensity was scored using a 4-level scale (0 to 3+). The overall sensitivity of LFIC assays was 91.1% for the Wondfo SARS-CoV-2 Antibody test, 72.2% for the INNOVITA 2019-nCoV IgG, 85.6% for the INNOVITA 2019-nCoV IgM, and 92.2% for the NtAb assay. Sensitivity increased for all assays in sera collected beyond day 14 after symptoms onset (93.9%, 79.6%, 93.9%, and 93.9%, respectively). Reactivities equal to or more intense than the positive control line (≥2+) in the Wondfo assay had a negative predictive value of 100% and a positive predictive value of 96.4% for high NtAb50 titers (≥1/160). The UV-vis spectrum showed the maximum absorbance at around 440-470 nm, which suggested the formation of green synthesized Ag-NPs. The morphological study demonstrated that the Ag-NPs were spherical in shape with an average size of 22.4 ± 7.4 nm. The antimicrobial activities of Ag-NPs against Fusarium and Aspergillus niger species of fungal and Escherichia coli species of bacteria were investigated through the disc diffusion and well-diffusion method using their zone of inhibition. The cytotoxicity effect of Ag-NPs on cell lines MOLT-4 was evaluated by using MTT assay. These nanoparticles showed remarkable antimicrobial activity against bacterias and fungus in low concentration. Although IWP-051 binding is weak, a single binding conformation was found at the interface of the two H-NOX subdomains, near but not overlapping with sites identified in sGC.     A community-based retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted among 2367 mothers who delivered from November 2018 to April 2019. Two-stage stratified random sampling technique was employed in clustered villages from three districts out of 10. Pretested and semi-structured interviewer-administered questionnaire was used to collect information on pregnancy-related complications. A binary logistic regression model was fitted to identify the associated factors.

    Overall, 2335 (98.6%) women participated in the study. Mean age of respondents was 15.4 (SD ±3.2) years and 1763 (75.5%) of the women were below 18years of age. The number of pregnancy-related complications was 372 (15.9%). Severe headache and high fever were the most frequently reported complications. Having a history of known health problem (adjusted odds ratio [aOR] 10.0, 95% confidence interval [CI] 7.10-14.10), history of hypertension (aOR 3.90, 95% CI 1.10-14.20), heart problems (aOR 1.90, 95% CI 1.10-3.30), and living in urban areas (aOR 1.40, 95% CI 1.10-1.81) were the factors associated with pregnancy-related complications.

We conducted a cross-sectional study of the histopathological diagnosis of pigmented lesions biopsied from the head and neck of adults ≥40 years of age that were submitted to a large, Queensland-based pathology centre over seven months. Out of 543 lesions assessed, 293 (54.0%) were flat and 250 (46.0%) were raised. Flat naevi consisted of junctional/lentiginous and compound naevi, either with or without dysplasia. Collectively, flat naevi had a prevalence slightly less than that of melanoma (15.0% versus 19.0% among flat lesions, respectively, and 8.1% versus 11.2% among all lesions, respectively). The mean age of biopsy for all junctional/lentiginous naevi was significantly greater than that of all compound naevi (65.0 years versus 52.2 years; P = 0.001). Pearson Correlation Coefficient test was used to explore the relationship between serum levels of DNJ and IMT values. Serum DNJ was 70 ± 50 ng/ml in the EG group but no serum DNJ was detected in the CG group. The incidence of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular events in the EG was lower than that in the CG group (p less then .05). Pretested and semi-structured interviewer-administered questionnaire was used to collect information on pregnancy-related complications. A binary logistic regression model was fitted to identify the associated factors. Overall, 2335 (98.6%) women participated in the study. Mean age of respondents was 15.4 (SD ±3.2) years and 1763 (75.5%) of the women were below 18years of age. The number of pregnancy-related complications was 372 (15.9%). Severe headache and high fever were the most frequently reported complications. This could result in the overdiagnosis and overtreatment of non-malignant lesions. We conducted a cross-sectional study of the histopathological diagnosis of pigmented lesions biopsied from the head and neck of adults ≥40 years of age that were submitted to a large, Queensland-based pathology centre over seven months. Out of 543 lesions assessed, 293 (54.0%) were flat and 250 (46.0%) were raised. Flat naevi consisted of junctional/lentiginous and compound naevi, either with or without dysplasia. Collectively, flat naevi had a prevalence slightly less than that of melanoma (15.0% versus 19.0% among flat lesions, respectively, and 8.1% versus 11.2% among all lesions, respectively). The mean age of biopsy for all junctional/lentiginous naevi was significantly greater than that of all compound naevi (65.0 years versus 52.2 years; P = 0.001). Pearson Correlation Coefficient test was used to explore the relationship between serum levels of DNJ and IMT values.   • This study explores the cardiorespiratory and muscular fatigue responses to downhill (DR) vs uphill running (UR) at similar running speed or similar oxygen uptake (â©’O2). In-hospital mortality was compared between patients who developed ARDS and those who did not. Utilization of healthcare resources (ICU length of stay, hospital length of stay, duration of mechanical ventilation, and frequency of tracheostomy and gastrostomy tube placement) was also examined. This retrospective cohort study included 38,213 patients with an overall ARDS occurrence of 7.5%. Younger age, admission tachycardia, pre-existing vascular and respiratory diseases, and pneumonia were associated with the development of ARDS. Compared to patients without ARDS, patients that developed ARDS experienced increased in-hospital mortality (OR 1.13, 95% CI 1.01-1.26), length of stay (p = less then 0.001), duration of mechanical ventilation (p = less then 0.001), and placement of tracheostomy (OR 2.70, 95% CI 2.34-3.13) and gastrostomy (OR 2.42, 95% CI 2.06-2.84).     We devised a markerless measurement method for hyperkyphosis using digital photography and investigated the correlation with other noninvasive measurements and the validity and accuracy of this method.

    The study included 27 participants. The craniovertebral angle in supine (CVAS) and craniohorizontal angle in supine (CHAS) were calculated from digital photographs of the head and neck areas of the studied subjects with ImageJ. The correlations of CVAS and CHAS with the kyphosis index (KI) and block method (BM) were investigated. Intrarater correlation coefficient and Bland-Altman analyses were used to verify the reliability and accuracy of the measured results.

    CHAS exhibited an excellent correlation with the KI and the BM. The intra- and interrater reliabilities of CHAS were almost perfect. Bland-Altman analysis revealed that CHAS was associated with minor addition errors.

    CHAS founded an excellent correlation and reliability with the conventional spinal postural alignment measurements. The addition error suggested that the manual was needed to confirm the landmark. The attenuated release of aggregated doxorubicin from the surface of Dox@UiO-66 results in a 12 to 16 h induction of cytotoxicity, while rapid release of pore-dispersed doxorubicin from Dox@MIL-101(Cr) leads to significantly higher intranuclear localization and rapid cell death. Just like COVID-19, pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) and pulmonary infarction may present with fever and respiratory symptoms. Since COVID-19 emerged and spread worldwide, many clinicians are focused on diagnosis and treatment of this novel viral infection. Hence, other diseases presenting with the same symptoms as COVID-19 may remain underdiagnosed.     Differentiating actual epileptic seizures (ESs) from psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) is of great interest. This study compares the serum proteomics of patients diagnosed with ESs and PNES.

    Eight patients with seizure (4 with PNES and 4 with TLE (temporal lope epilepsy)) were enrolled in this comparative study. Venous blood samples were drawn during the first hour following the seizure. Standard protein purification technique was employed and proteins were subsequently separated via 2-D electrophoresis. After comparison of the serum proteomes from the two groups, protein expression was analyzed. The differentially expressed bands were determined using both matrix-assisted laser ionization time-of-flight (MALDI/TOF) and electrospray ionization quadruple mass spectrometry (MS).

    This study identified 361 proteins, the expression of 110 proteins increased, and 87 proteins decreased in the PNES group compared with TLE group. Four separate proteins were finally identified with MALDI/TOF MS analysis. Compared with PNES group, alpha 1-acid glycoprotein, ceruloplasmin, and S100-β were down-regulated and malate dehydrogenase 2 was up-regulated in the serum of TLE patients.

    Our results indicated that changes in serum levels of S100-β, ceruloplasmin, alpha 1-acid glycoprotein 1, and malate dehydrogenase 2 after seizure could be introduced as potential markers to differentiate ES from PNES; however, more advanced studies are required to reach a better understanding of the underlying mechanisms.

    Some clinical decision rules have been developed to identify minor head trauma (MHT) patients in need of brain computed tomography (CT) scan for detection of possible traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). This study aimed to evaluate the performance of American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) recommendations in this regard.

    This study is a cross-sectional study of MHT (GCS 13-15) cases who referred to emergency department of a level one trauma center, Mashhad, Iran, from October 2017 to March 2018. The screening performance characteristics of ACEP recommendations for performing brain CT scan in these patients were calculated.

    500 patients with a mean age of 37.97 ± 15.96 years were evaluated. Based on level one recommendations, 73 (14.6 %) patients had to be assessed by brain CT scan. 67 (91.8%) were assessed and 6 (8.2%) were not assessed based on decision of their in-charge physician. According to level two recommendations, 125 (25.0%) patients did not need brain CT scan, 85 (68%) of whom had been assessed (all normal). Differentiating actual epileptic seizures (ESs) from psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) is of great interest. This study compares the serum proteomics of patients diagnosed with ESs and PNES. Eight patients with seizure (4 with PNES and 4 with TLE (temporal lope epilepsy)) were enrolled in this comparative study. Venous blood samples were drawn during the first hour following the seizure. Standard protein purification technique was employed and proteins were subsequently separated via 2-D electrophoresis. After comparison of the serum proteomes from the two groups, protein expression was analyzed. The differentially expressed bands were determined using both matrix-assisted laser ionization time-of-flight (MALDI/TOF) and electrospray ionization quadruple mass spectrometry (MS). This study identified 361 proteins, the expression of 110 proteins increased, and 87 proteins decreased in the PNES group compared with TLE group. Four separate proteins were finally identified with MALDI/TOF MS analysis. Compared with PNES group, alpha 1-acid glycoprotein, ceruloplasmin, and S100-β were down-regulated and malate dehydrogenase 2 was up-regulated in the serum of TLE patients. Our results indicated that changes in serum levels of S100-β, ceruloplasmin, alpha 1-acid glycoprotein 1, and malate dehydrogenase 2 after seizure could be introduced as potential markers to differentiate ES from PNES; however, more advanced studies are required to reach a better understanding of the underlying mechanisms. This study aimed to evaluate the performance of American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) recommendations in this regard. This study is a cross-sectional study of MHT (GCS 13-15) cases who referred to emergency department of a level one trauma center, Mashhad, Iran, from October 2017 to March 2018. The screening performance characteristics of ACEP recommendations for performing brain CT scan in these patients were calculated. 500 patients with a mean age of 37.97 ± 15.96 years were evaluated. Based on level one recommendations, 73 (14.6 %) patients had to be assessed by brain CT scan. 67 (91.8%) were assessed and 6 (8.2%) were not assessed based on decision of their in-charge physician. According to level two recommendations, 125 (25.0%) patients did not need brain CT scan, 85 (68%) of whom had been assessed (all normal). We sought to assess the reliability and validity of the new Person-Centered Primary Care Measure (PCPCM) in a pediatric resident continuity clinic serving low-income families.

    We incorporated the 11-item PCPCM, stems adapted to reflect a parent responding about their child's visit, into a telephone survey of 194 parents presenting for care in October 2019 at a pediatric resident continuity clinic in Cleveland Ohio (64% response rate). We evaluated PCPCM items using factor analysis and Rasch modeling, and assessed associations of the PCPCM with parents' demographics and perceptions of specific elements of their child's care.

    In this sample of low-income families, the PCPCM had good reliability (Cronbach's alpha 0.85). All items loaded onto a single factor in principal axes factor analysis. Of the 11 aspects of primary care represented in the scale, "shared experience" was most difficult for parents to endorse in Rasch modeling. All 11 items contributed significantly to the total scale score with corrected item-total correlations >0.4. The PCPCM score was independent of socio demographics and was associated with parent's report that their child's clinician spends enough time with them.

This set of identified interactions includes every polar atom type present in the Protein Data Bank except OE1 (glutamate/glutamine sidechain) and a clear geometric preference for the methionine sulfur atom (SD) to act as a hydrogen bond acceptor. In this review, we will focus on the complex interactions occurring in this dynamic system, the TME, which orchestrate key events that lead to tumor progression, immune escape, and resistance. Furthermore, we will summarize current clinical trials that depict the TME as a potential therapeutic target for improved patient selection.

  • To investigate the mental health status of Chinese residents during the epidemic of COVID-19, as well as to identify the positive and negative factors and regulatory effect of negative cognitive processing bias on mental health.

    A total of 60,199 residents in China were surveyed via an internet-based survey containing a general questionnaire, such as the self-rating depression scale, the state anxiety inventory, and the negative cognitive processing bias questionnaire. An ordered multiple logistic regression analysis model was used to analyze the collected data.

    The survey revealed mild, moderate, and severe depressive symptoms in 62.65, 11.33, and 6.14% participants, respectively, and mild, moderate, and severe anxiety symptoms in 33.21, 41.27, and 22.99% participants, respectively. Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that factors, such as female gender, being older than 55 years, high school education level, medical staff, marital conflicts, negative attention bias, rumination, and death growth rate, positively affected depression and anxiety symptoms. The good family functionality, democratic working atmosphere, and a myriad of social activities negatively affected the level of depressive and anxiety symptoms.

    Chinese residents exhibited a high prevalence of anxiety and depressive symptoms during the epidemic. Thus, psychological interventions should focus on the vulnerable groups, and cognitive training should focus on reducing the negative cognitive processing bias. This might be an effective way to alleviate the mental stress of the general public during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Family health is an important issue which has attracted researchers from different fields. The present study aimed to validate the Persian version of the Family Health Climate Scale (FHC-Scale).

    In this methodological research, a total of 620 individuals presenting to Comprehensive Healthcare centers affiliated with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and Gonabad University of Medical Sciences were selected through random multistage sampling. Validation of the FHC-Scale was performed. First, the original scale was translated and ****-translated. Then its content validity and construct validity were assessed using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Reliability was assessed using internal consistency and stability. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 20 (IBM Corp., Armonk, NY, USA) and LISREL version 8.5 (SSI Inc., Skokie, IL, USA).

    Results of exploratory factor analysis showed that "physical activity" of family health climate scale (FHC-PA) has three dimensions value, cohesion and information explaining 61.99% of the variance. "Nutrition" of family health climate scale (FHC-NU) had four dimensions of value, communication, cohesion and consensus explaining 66.19% of the variance. Internal consistency of the dimensions of (FHC-PA) ranged 0.82-0.85 and that for FHC-NU ranged 0.82-0.84. Confirmatory factor analysis revealed goodness of fit and confirmed family health climate scale (Nutrition and physical activity).

    Results of the study revealed that the FHC-Scale has appropriate reliability and validity for Iranian families. Therefore, the Persian version of the scale can be used for assessing health-related aspects of family.

    MNAT1 (menage a trois 1, MAT1), a cyclin-dependent kinase-activating kinase (CAK) complex, highly expressed in diverse cancers and was involved in cancer molecular pathogenesis. However, its deliverance profile and biological function in osteosarcoma (OS) remain unclear.

    The expression of MNAT1 in OS was detected by western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). The potential relationship between MNAT1 molecular level expression and OS clinical expectations were analyzed according to tissues microarray (TMA). Proliferation potential of OS cells was evaluated in vitro based on CCK8 and OS cells colony formation assays, while OS cells transwell and in situ tissue source wound healing assays were employed to analyze the OS cells invasion and migration ability in vitro. A nude mouse xenograft model was used to detect tumor growth in vivo. In addition, ordinary bioinformatics analysis and experimental correlation verification were performed to investigate the underlying regulation mechanism of OS by MNAT1.

    In this research, we found and confirmed that MNAT1 was markedly over-expressed in OS tissue derived in situ, also, highly MNAT1 expression was closely associated with bad clinical expectations. Functional studies had shown that MNAT1 silencing could weaken the invasion, migration and proliferation of OS cells in vitro, and inhibit OS tumor growth in vivo. Mechanism study indicated that MNAT1 contributed to the progression of OS via the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway. We further verified that the MNAT1 was required in the regulation of OS chemo-sensitivity to cisplatin (DDP).

The Medical Advice for Sick-reported Students (MASS) intervention is a proactive school-based intervention focused primarily on early identification and reduction of sickness absence. This study used a program evaluation framework to evaluate the MASS intervention among intermediate vocational education students and Youth Health Care professionals.
